What I eat today was born from “family” What I eat today Lab, our first boutique café opened in 2019.
It was born from the request of our customers to taste typical dishes in a familiar place.
One day, a customer asked us: “When are you going to open Cosa mangigio oggi?”
and, from there, it became an obsession. The name was there; after a few months, a room also became free and it seemed a sign of destiny. The design of the restaurant is inspired by the 60s: from the furniture, to the objects to finish with all the books, the paintings, the music. It is like going back in time.
The tables are in coloured formica, the floors the famous ‘cementine’; the images on the wall portray films of the time.
Our motto is “Come a casa“, because we would like our customers to feel like they are entering a grandmother’s house and breathe a warmth, perhaps experienced years before.
